March comes to us from the U.K. A brilliant songwriter, based in London/Buckinghamshire. March plays in and on the folky side, with a lush sonic palette. Her latest tune is “For The World,” the first single from her debut album “All of the Above.” This tune is really a playful track that depicts the artist’s sense of being pulled back to a dreamlife that is calling out beyond the lulls of the everyday.
That vocal is mesmerizing. There are softness and warm cadence in her tone that speaks of flirty moments and dances with little eloquent prose. The instrumentation is really restrained, but I do absolutely adore the subtle piano leads and the balance in the guitar backdrop. Effectively tying the track in a little bow, the rolling bassline is truthfully a triumph to the tracks harmony and overall balance.
