They Don’t Know by Whisper Dish

An intimate rollicking track from Aucklands, Tim McNaughton. The brilliant flow to this 70’s inspired track conjures imaginings and almost psychedelic movement to this Shoegazey indie-rock tune.

I love the vintage vibe in the tune. I keep hearing this mirror of Beck in the vocal sound, and the lyrical delivery. I also want to call out the restrained percussion that accentuates the guitars and builds terrific energy. This all works to create an expansive melodic stroll that keeps the listener especially engaged in the direction of the track.
