I’m Coming Home by Henry Conlon

Henry’s vocal is very strong, a country crooner that draws some eerie similarities to Tyler Childers and a less gritty Jason Isbell. The song I’m Coming Home is an inspired and rootsy romp into Americana, full of stalking storytelling through Henry’s dusty verse. Hearing this swooning fiddle come in to play brings memories of old westerns and driving storms. The entire project is so well played.

Speaking into the realms of alchoholism, self-doubt and perserverance, I’m Coming Home is a myriad of emotional themes, that grapple the listener and propel them into thought about life, love, and loss all to the backdrop of smooth acoustic and haunting fiddle.
